OKIB says return after Bradley Creek wildfire will be phased

As someone who has guided clients through many changes in our communities since 1992, I understand how important clear updates are during challenging times. The Okanagan Indian Band has started a phased re-entry following the 2,635-hectare Bradley Creek wildfire. While evacuation orders are easing, there are still hazards present and a do-not-consume water notice remains in effect. Ongoing safety assessments are a top priority to ensure everyone’s well-being. Staying informed and putting safety first is always key—especially as our neighborhoods recover and rebuild.
